Marikana Commemorations I Reflecting on the impact of the massacre: Bishop Jo Seoka

This will be the first year that the Marikana Commemorations will take place outside Rustenburg in the North West. This due to lockdown regulations. We see how the day progresses and speak to the community about their feelings of the event and the fact that they will not have a formal event. For more let’s cross live to our reporter Sellwane Khakhau. Following the now called Marikana Massacre, a report dated 31st of March 2015 was submitted to the government by the Farlam Commission. As we remembered that fateful day when police opened fire on civilians, we’re asking has enough been done to bring about justice. Bishop Jo Seoka was a constant figure in the action to hold authorities to account.
