Jagersfontein Dam tailings failure

Panic overnight on the news that there had been another dam wall rupture in the diamond mining area of Jagersfontein. Earlier this month a tailings dam full of toxic sludge burst its banks and spewed across the town, engulfing buildings, farm land and livestock.
